Emily and Mark’s story began in 2015 while working part-time at a local pet store. After Mark discovered that Emily’s favorite meal is breakfast, he secured a first date at the Stirling Diner—and the rest was history.

The two stayed close throughout college despite the distance between schools. In 2018, Mark dusted off his passport for his first-ever international trip to visit Emily while she studied abroad in Florence. Together, they navigated the streets of Italy and Denmark, sparking a love for travel that has followed them ever since.

After graduation, they explored Japan—hopping through Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka—before settling into their first jobs in Manhattan. They moved into their city apartment in 2021, spending their weekends restaurant-hopping, exploring museums, and frequenting local dog parks (despite not actually having a dog of their own at the time).

In 2023, they crossed the river to Jersey City. Surrounded by parks and greenery, it was only a matter of time before they finally added a third member to the family: @TeddytheHungarianFrenchBulldog.

Emily and Mark are so excited to celebrate their marriage with their favorite people in the city they now call home!
